Ḥorvat Tevet is located at the northeastern margins of the Jezreel Valley on three terraces sloping south to the bank of Naḥal Tevet, at the bottom of HaMoreh Hill. The rural settlement with an agriculture-based economy is dated from LB I through the medieval period and contains nine archaeological layers. During the Late Iron IIa, the settlement was repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt.
