Tsomet Shoket
Tsomet Shoket (A-7700) is located near modern day Beer Sheva. The site has four phases representing above rectilinear structures and underground structures, including cylindrical and bell-shaped puts as well as subterranean complexes. The ground stone tools assemblage is dominated grinding tools, vessels and perforated items, with smaller amounts of grooved items and hammestones. Notably, unlike other Late Chalcolithic sites, there are very few basalt vessels; instead, limestone, a local choice, is the predominant raw material.
